Miguel recently installed a beautiful oak floor in our kitchen. I cannot recommend him enough. He is very experienced and loves what he is doing. We had puzzled over what to do with our old floor which was too thin to refinish. Miguel suggested oak, mixing red and white oak and we are very happy with the results. I am so happy that we chose Miguel to do the installation and hope to bring him back to refinish our oak floors. I wouldn't consider anyone else.

In a few days less than what he had told us it might take, The Floor Guy revitalized our home by installing two rooms of new hardwood floor and refinishing five other rooms. They also came back after being paid when I had some questions and wanted some touch-up. These are the actions of someone who wants to establish and maintain a good reputation, and I strongly recommend Miguel.

Great job. Fair priced. Shows up when he says he will. Takes his time and does careful clean work. I obtained 3 bids. One was from a general contractor. I decided that I didn't want the general contractor because I wanted my work done by someone who only does wood floors. Originally I thought we could do the work ourselves. That was a joke. Maggie, you have written a review of the handyman you hired to correct your mistake. You paid me in full for doing a beautiful job and you were happy when I left. You said you wanted to "wax" the floors and I told you if you did that, it would void my warranty. You did it anyway, ruined your floors, and asked me to come fix your mistake. When I refused, you hired a "handyman" to try and do what I have been doing almost 25 yrs. The review you wrote describes HIS work, not mine. I could file a lawsuit against you for defamation of character, but I am too busy working and don't have time. Be careful next time you get mad at yourself for messing something up and trying to blame a hardworking craftsman for it. I told you, "waxing" hardwood floors went out in the 1960's. You didn't believe me and decided on your own to destroy the beautiful job I did. Now you've paid a third person to fix your handyman's work. My reputation and workmanship speak for themselves. Nice try.

Very poor quality workmanship. Gouged the floor in several places. The floor used to be smooth, now its loaded with ripples and uneven spots everywhere--very amateurish, I could have done better and I'm a girl. I found puddles of varnish around all the doors, hair every few feet varnished into the floor, and lumps of dust on the floor everywhere--either he didn't vacuum or didn't fully sand the floor, so that the texture is rough like sand paper. I even found a clump of dirt that had just been varnished over. Didn't bother to sand in the corners and gouged all the moulding. What a mess.
