General Info
Competing as "The Southern Gentlemen's Culinary Society" competition barbecue team and opening Whole Hog Café in 2000, the Whole Hog Café founders Ron Blasingame, Mike "Sarge" Davis, and Steve Lucchi long devoted themselves to the pursuit of barbecue perfection. That is why it was an easy decision for our owner David Warren to make the move from Fayetteville in 2009 to open the first Springfield location on W. Sunshine and the second on N. Glenstone in 2014. David's own pursuit of barbecue perfection is reflected in the wildly popular dishes served in the Whole Hog Café Springfield - Burnt End Cheesy Corn and "The Sarge", of course named after his dear friend and founder Sarge Davis. For nearly ten years Whole Hog Café Springfield has been smoking consistently perfect meats in the Ozarks. You'll see Pitmasters David and Charlie in house every day.Competing as "The Southern Gentlemen's Culinary Society" competition barbecue team and opening Whole Hog Café in 2000, the Whole Hog Café founders Ron Blasingame, Mike "Sarge" Davis, and Steve Lucchi long devoted themselves to the pursuit of barbecue perfection.
