Promise Hospital of Louisiana, formerly known as Promise Specialty Hospital, is one of the largest long-term acute care facilities in northwest Louisiana. Established in 1992, it features more than 95 beds and over 60 private rooms. The hospital specializes in the medical management of patients with complex, unresolved, chronic and catastrophic illnesses, as well as multisystem disease processes. Promise Hospital of Louisiana s professional staff is comprised of nurses, therapists, nutritionists, pharmacists and case managers. Its clinical services include dialysis, ventilator and wound management, daily physician visits, outpatient counseling, and respiratory, occupational, physical and speech therapies.
