General Info

During the last 11 years I have worked as CaninePsychologist & staff Behaviorist & Trainer for the Los Angeles SPCA, Behaviorist & Trainer for the K9Division of the Pittsburg Police Department, Trainer & Behaviorist at Albright Kennels, Staff Behaviorist during the annual Fetch Obedience Trials & Columnist for Fetch magazine from 2005-2007. I regularly offer expert testimony in dog mauling & related cases throughout California and at times outside the state.I am called regularly to work with "last chance dogs" - those that are scheduled for euthenization due to behavioral challenges at various shelters in the S.F Bay Area & offer free post adoption training to individuals that adopt dogs previously scheduled for euthenization. In addition I have an extensive background in various fields of psychology including canine behavior & psychology. My success comes from my patience, knowledge, experience & most of all willingness to go the distance until the job is done. All dogs deserve to live!I am also well versed in all methods of training ranging from Schutzhund/Protection, Positive Reinforcement and the methods of William Koehler, Cesear Millan, Ian Dunbar, Sit Means Sit & others. My own unique style of training and behavior modification methods encompass a nonviolent humane approach.I have worked with all breeds and dog problems and have a 100% success rate. I have never turned away a client or dog because of the severity of the case as I believe all dogs have the potential to become balanced and healthy pets. Rarely is the limiting factor the dog. What I have found in the majority of cases is, the challenge(s) stems from the lack of knowledge on the part of the owner. My experiential knowledge has taught me that all adverse dog behavior can be corrected and no dog should be euthenized as a result thereof. I see clients throughout the entire Bay Area and will travel to you in most cases. The quickest way to reach me is through email.I look forward to working with you and your dog
