Not sure exactly where to start with this company... Let me start by saying that if you are considering going here for ANY service, please do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and do more research and listen to advice from other reviewers and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I'll try to make this quick...

Let me first say that I have waited a whole year before writing this review in the hopes that this company would make right by me.

No one wants to admit publicly that they had work done. Well, I did and unfortunately I chose this questionable establishment to do it. After meeting with one of their RN's for a consult (something their website says they DO NOT do) I was convinced this doc knew his stuff and we went forward with this pricy procedure. It was a few months before my wedding and I had some problem areas diet/exercise wasn't helping with. Met the "doc" 5 minutes before the procedure. Procedure done (with a few extra holes) and home I went. Days went by, I went back for their complimentary venus freeze and off I was sent again. I tried contacting the office several times with some questions I had in days following the procedure, only to get a recording to "leave a message and we'll call you back". After no call backs, I was forced to call another doctors office to help me with my questions. WEEKS went by with no follow-up calls. WEEKS. When I finally got hold of someone, my wedding was approaching and I was pretty much healed. I was told it could take up to one year for the full results (which is why I waited until now for the review)

Well, it was apparent after 6-7 months that the only thing this "doctor" did was unevenly remove fat from my abdomen and not what I was told was going to happen. After a few more months of trying to get a follow up with this company (after they had changed their name and website) I finally went in to see the doctor. So I thought... I was met with their office manager to do a followup and she continuously told me that I was wrong. Took pictures to show the "doctor" and said they would call.

Again, WEEKS later, she did finally call me back (after constant phone calls from me) and said the doctor agreed to go in and "fix" what he had done. I scheduled an appointment to coincide with the 5k's I was running a month and a half out and was happy they finally were going to help.

The DAY BEFORE my appointment, someone called from the office and said they had to cancel. (this has happened before with hair removal appts for me with them)

I was so upset because I had scheduled those days off from work and was losing a ton of money due to this place. I called and talked to the office manager and was told someone would call and/or email me regarding my concerns. It has been two months. No phone calls, no emails.

I will definitely be contacting the board of plastic surgeons. I know others who have had similar experiences with this place and its horrible doctor. As I said, no one wants to admit they had work done, but if I can save another person the pain and trouble I had to endure with this, then I'll happily admit it.

As a side note, I did go see another doctor and was told he could fix it. For $5,000 more dollars. and that I should definitely be reporting this guy. FinishBody is a joke

This place is a joke. The doctor is very cheap and the service is terrible. The employee's have very little training and are likely to screw everything up, like they did for me. 2 thumbs down!

My Experience was in the LA office. I came in because I needed some areas taken care of. I had tried the dieting, exercising and I just could not loose the weight (in certain areas) I met with one of the girls there, by the way they are all nurses NOT Sales people like in other places, and they took me through the whole procedure. I was very amazed on how the nurse had a great response every time I asked a question. And assured me that I was going to be in great hands, Dr Calhoun’s hands. Well after I consulted with the nurse, I was sure that they were the ones. They gave me my quote and I was presently surprised to see that it was very reasonable. I asked if there were going to be any fees that I would have to pay and they said NO everything is included in the price. Everything from the garments to the medications and no OR fee. I was ecstatic. I had my procedure done the following week and when Dr. Calhoun was done with the procedure…even when I was on the table….I COULD SEE A DIFFERENCE!!!! I was so amazed on what a great job Dr. Calhoun did. He is very precise and takes his time with his patients to sculpt them and take out as much fat as possible…he even showed me the fat…haha…I was comfortable the whole procedure and we were talking about sports, actresses and so many other topics. Well now it has been about 1 moth and I keep seeing results. The first week I was a little swollen, but the nurse assured me, on my one-week follow-up, that it was going to take some time to heal and to keep massaging and wearing my garment. One month out and I have lost some weight and inches. I am SUPER happy with the results and I would RECOMMEND ADVANCELIPO to anyone!!!! Thank you to Dr. Calhoun and his staff for making my experience a great one and making me feel at home.
