Provided by YPmobileCalled in advance at 7 for a table and told them my ETA wouldn't be between 7:30-7:45. I was called at 7:22 and told my table would be ready. I informed them that I would arrive at about 7:45. At 7:40 I was called again. I informed them I was 10 minutes out and was in traffic. We arrived at 7:55. I was informed that it had been 53 minutes and they had to give my table away. I made a request for 7:30-7:45. How could I have been 53 minutes late? After my arrival it still took over 45 minutes to be seated. The hostesses were unprofessional by turning their backs and acting as if they didn't hear us when we asked questions. I eaten at several Pappadeaux's restaurants and had to wait but never like this.

Provided by YP.comI love their soft shelled crabs mainly because they are the only restaurant in San Antonio that serves them. Prices are too high but I will pay it when I need a soft-shelled crab fix.

Provided by YP.comthe food is the same because they follow the same recipie but there is nobody from louisiana in the kitchen so when you find a pappadeaux closer to LA the food is so much better and more authentic...the gumbo was gross tasted like mud the salad dressing tasted like crayons i thought i was 5 on the playground again...houston locations are best...my advice get a creole in the kitchen

Provided by YP.comGreat casual place with oh so friendly waitstaff. Sometimes extremely busy and have to ask for condiments several times but overall great food and staff. Been going there since it opened up. We love the Yvette sauce on our fish. Mahi is great when they've got it. Our grandkids know they want to eat there when it comes to seafood and the alligator they love.
Our family gatherings are so enjoyable we keep coming back for the atmosphere, food and the super desserts....Droooling already. Prices are regulated according to its rank in seafood plates which are fair. Bring out-of-town visitors too.
