Removes 70% of the Dirt? What about the other 30?%

First of all, this company is in Plano, Not Mckinney, they used a residential address Across the street from St. Michaels Catholic Church in McKinney to get their YP add in another spot.

Secondly Chem Dry has actually decieved the pubilic, and hence their customers ( myself included) by false and misleading advertising. ( DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING you are told the saying goes).

They say that steam cleaning is not good and that their method of cleaning is the best.

Well I have just found out that Professional Deep steam Cleaning is the "Gold Standard" by the carpet industry ( see www.iicrc.org) or Stainmaster warranty. The manufacturers warranty states that Professional Steam Cleaning is the ONLY approved method to maintain the retention warranty and must be done every 18 months, but recommended every 12 months. If you use Chem Dry the Warranty is VOID!

My carpet was treated ( notice I said treated, NOT CLEANED) by chem dry, and i was told that the process can remove 70% of the soil. What about the other 30% I am thinking. So I read the IICRC standards along with the warranty I got from Stainmaster and they both state a good vacuum cleaner can remove 70 - 80 % of the soil.

By gosh, you mean just vacuuming does an equal or better job than Chem Dry. All they do is put a bit of SODA water on the carpet and suck it off. That is not cleaning, it is a rip off.

Disappointed in McKinney
