I am a long-time customer and the take out food remains terrific. Location is ok, the area caters to some unseemly characters. Parking close by is difficult as expected.

Located in Chinatown (across from Mei Sum Dim Sum), this is the most popular place in town to take-out (only) delicious, steaming, local-style manapua (delicious pork thing), and also char sui, noodles, pork hash and other Chinese delicacies.

Char Hung Sut is a popular takeout place for manapua, char siu, noodles, pork hash and other Chinese delicacies. The place is alway bustling with activity. There is limited seating if you want to eat in, but when I say "limited" I mean LIMITED. The entire shop is not very large, but they do an incredible takeout business in no small part to their great food at reasonable prices. The menu is not extensive, but what they have is as good as it gets.
