I had to click on one star simply to generate this post. This vet honestly doesn't deserve a star. We had to take our 15 year old cat in to be put to sleep. We are new to the area and called this vet's office to see if we could bring her in on Saturday morning. They stated that we did not need an appointment for this service. We arrived and sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before we were taken to an exam room. Very little dignity.
They had at least two empty exam rooms that could have been used for us to wait to say goodbye to our pet rather than being in a loud and busy waiting room.
The vet came in. Did not introduce himself. He threw the release form over to me without any explanation and it landed on top of our cat. I was getting angry and asked him what did he want me to do with this? At that point he asked for my signature. I signed it and threw it on the exam desk. He gave her the shot, felt her, declared her dead and walked out.
I have never met a vet with such little compassion or professionalism.

Dr Young and his staff are excellent!! I brought my year old Basset Hound {Lucy} in because she swallowed a sewing needle. The needle had traveled into her stomach so she had to have emergency surgery. As you can expect, I was a basket case! But the staff was wonderful with Lucy and kept me informed of everything that was happening. They even worked out a payment plan with me which I am so very greatful, if not I may have lost my Lucy. Thank you so much to Dr Young and his staff, I will be back in the future with my dogs!!!

Dr. Young and staff provide excellent service for our cattle needs. Facilities make tending to cattle easy and safe. Pricing is very competitive. Too few large animal vets still around, good to have these guys in our back yard!

The staff at Young Animal Hospital are very professional and are very helpful. Everyone is always smiling and prepared to do the most for our family pets. I recommend everyone I know and those I don't to them.
