TERRIBLE treatment!

I could say soo soo many negative things about this place...

I was inpatient about 10 months ago for my eating disorder, and self harm, bipolar, etc.

Pine rest gave me a horrible self esteem; just to say that in the kindest way possible.

First of all; they have the audacity to call themselves a "Christian hospital." Yeah right... If anything, there were more satanic talks than anything.

The doctors also have no idea what they're doing, they had given me the wrong medication at least 10 times there...

I'm close to being a year clean, not to mention out of this hell of a place.

If you are wanting to help yourself, or especially a family member- you are doing the wrong thing by sending them here.

Never once was there a consular even. I'm sure that might sound ridiculous in a "psychiatric" hospital.

They have a program there, called, "peer boundaries." This program ruined me- I think more than anything. They would literally leave you in your room by yourself, completely isolated. You'd eat, sleep, and cry all day. Also- when you have to go back out into the "real world", you're obviously not going to function very well after spending 2-3 weeks in a room by yourself....

It is very unsafe. You can find a millon ways to hurt yourself there. Quite honestly- because they couldn't care less. They're in it for their "reputation" also the money.

Well I'm writing this, I can't forget to put in here, than I was assulted multiple times by the staff. There was even a woman who made up the excuse that "she was sorry, she was just hormonal" ......

It was only after I got to forest view when I was able to completely recover. I am now 10 months clean. Very happy. Although- I wish I would've just went to forest view first.

It would have saved me a lot of Frustration- and nightmares.
