Took a small farm pet to doc. He told me where to go 4 my supplies. The place he recommended did not have it nor did 2 othter places I tried. Called doc to tell him I ordered meds online & needed advice on dosage. His response was: "You buy it, you figure it out." I then returned to drop off stool samples (again, at his request). I was the only one in the office. The doc proceeded to tell me "I am not dealing with you" over and over. He told me I was basically taking advantage of his services. I told him I did exactly what he said but he seemed offended that I purchased meds from another place. He kept walking behind the counter where I couldn't see him & berating me more. I told him I did nothing wrong & was shocked. His sarcastic response, "I know. You did nothing wrong. I spent a long time with you." I told him I appreciated it and he said, "I know u do & it didn't cost u a thing." It's his job to advise patients. Very unprofessional & offensive. I felt I needed to defend myself.

We took our cat to the Dr.He did an outstanding job with our beloved cat Dill. Our dogs are going there next.

Dr. Heaton always treated our dogs with promptness and great respect. I swear, the dogs actually looked forward to going to see him! He always provided great service and great follow up for our dogs. Unfortunately, we moved to Indiana in 2007, and even though we have a great vet here in Mooresville, IN at St. Francis PH, we miss having Dr. Heaton as our dogs doctor.

He goes way out of his way to research pet problems, and has never failed to find out the problem. He's very reasonably priced, very caring and extremely knowledgeable.
