Harlen Winter has trained over a dozen dogs for me. The latest was last summer, a GSP male out of hunting stock. I have owned at least 25 quail dogs of all breeds --- I have never seen anyone who could think the same way as the dog,, explain to the owner why the dog was doing what he was doing and how to correct it. 'Nate" stayed with Harlen for 90 days, was force broke to retrieve and worked on pointing quail.



In my opinion one of Harlen's strong points is training the owner with the dog ----LOTS of dog owners have no idea how to handle their dogs.

Harlan trained my Golden Retriever 9 years ago. She's by far the best dog I've ever owned and a large part of that is the discipline learned from Harlan. She's a champ in the field and a star in the neighborhood. I have had numerous compliments from fellow hunters and friends and family about how well trained she is. Can't wait to have my new lab trained ny him!
