Verbally Abusive Billing Supervisor

I hate to have to write a negative review like this because the actual physical therapist was great. However, if you visit this office, you should hope and pray that you do not have to deal with their billing department. After I received my bill, I had a question and called the billing department. After I explained who I was and that I had a question about a charge on my bill I was then transferred to a "supervisor" named Chris who immediately got on the phone and began complaining and ranting about how horrible United Healthcare is and that they shouldn't accept my insurance. All of this was before I even had the opportunity to even ask my question. I was absolutely appalled at how unprofessional and rude Chris was. I cannot remember ever being spoken to like that before. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she put me on hold. While I was waiting I was venting to my husband about her disrespectful behavior, she unmuted her phone and started yelling at me again and then hung up. I tried calling back several times without my call being answered. I can only imagine that they were screening my calls at that point. I called the therapist who was apologetic and gave me the COO's name and phone number to call. I called and left a voice mail without a return call, almost two weeks later. Which brings me to writing this review. Be warned that their billing department has no problem yelling and treating their patients like dirt and I can only assume that the COO condones this behavior since he couldn't find time to return my call.
