Dr. Treadwell has well over 15 years of experience in veterinary internal medicine - starting her Residency at Purdue University in 1996. Her experience and expertise in ultrasound and endoscopy is unsurpassed in this region.

Shreveport Veterinary Internal Medicine is a referral-only practice providing advanced veterinary care for dogs and cats. We believe this goal is best reached through caring communication between pet owners, their family veterinarian, and the SVIM team. We are dedicated to providing owners and veterinarians the information and services needed for optimal treatment of treasured pets. SVIM treats complicated medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, seizures, cancer and intestinal disorders. We create individualized diagnostic and treatment plans using ultrasound, endoscopy, biopsies, fluid analysis, x-ray and more. Our supportive supportive and critical care facility meets all of the needs of seriously ill pets. Blood, plasma and IVIG transfusions, oxygen therapy with temperature, humidity and CO2 control, IV and feeding tube nutritional support, blood pressure monitoring and support, urine output monitoring, blood gas analysis & more with 24 hour care
