A great place to buy/sell used books. Lines can get long (especially if you are selling) so try to go during non peak times.

This is one of the best, if not the best, used bookstore in Nashville. The selection is massive - and not only books, but other media including video, audio, and even video games. It takes some hunting around, but the treasures you will find in here are second to none. Great to sell used books as well.

Go to McKays Used Books where you can find books, music, cds, games, etc for anywhere from 60%-80% off the prices you pay. You can also sell your items to them as well for cash or store credit. Check them out before you buy a new book and save a little cash. The only thing I don't pick up the phone to tell you whats in stock. You just have to go and shop in person. But the store is well organized into categories.

Wonderful place to find lots of steals for great prices! My son always loves going here to find a few books for the price of a new one. I frequently stop by to see if any new releases have been sold back yet, and I have been successful many times.

Love this store! A teacher's best friend as I can find cheap, used books for my classroom. Weekends are very busy so I try to go in the evening or on weekdays during the summer.

This place is wonderful!! I happened on it two years ago and have gone when in need of great well written and made books at wonderfully discounted prices!! In addition, I can also sell my old books which makes me very happy that not only will they be put to good use but I have some extra spending change!!

We always have a great time at mckay's. lots of books, cds, dvds, and video games. They are all used but the prices are great.

Great for the avid reader and movie hound. The selections of both are wide, wide. However, customer service is lacking. I needed to know if they had a particular category of book and also what category I might find a particular DVD. In both cases not one employee in the store could give me an answer other than "check the list taped to the end of the book shelves" or " I have no idea, try this or that".

This bookstore is great! I'm an avid reader and to be able to find all my favorite authors under one roof is great. The isles are setup in a way that is easy for you to explore. Also there are no sales people walking around bugging you. I really like being able to walk around this bookstore in peace and stocking up on all of their great buys.

As a bookstore, their selection is kind of come-and-go (as to be expected), but in great condition and good prices. They do, however, have a VAST number of DVDs, and I was only able to explore a couple of shelves, as I soon became afraid of spending too much money. I am definitely going to have to go back and explore more. A great find and a wonderful, clean, well-lit place.



Also, as someone who likes to explore a lot without constantly being bugged about what I want and if I can be helped, it is also VERY nice.
