We were having some upgrades put into our Condo in Park West as our past tenant had just moved out. Unknown to us the builder had leaned a water pipe in the ceiling (instead of using an elbow to make a]the right angle). Long story short- the water was turned on and the pipe had broken loose so the condo was flooded. Luckily we called Boss & they saved our condo from mold / mildew. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely use them if you ever have a water damage. We had a toilet leak in the middle of the night, when I woke up there was 3 inches of water on the floor. My husband and I didn't know what to do. My son suggested we call the boss. Boss came to my house immediately and began cleaning up the problem. The technicians on site were so friendly and helpful. They kept us informed throughout the entire process. Boss made this a very pleasant experience even though it was a stressful situation. Im glad my son remembered the saying "water loss, call the boss". Thanks guys.

Thanksgiving!

It was Thursday 11/25 - Thanksgiving morning and we woke up to the sound of a waterfall in our living room. Our children started screaming mommy - daddy come quickly. Our hot water heater had burst and water was coming out of the ceiling in several areas. It truely looked like it was raining in our home. I was devistated. We had several relatives showing up in a few hours and I just didn't know what to do. My husband started to try to clean it up when my 5 year old said - you need to

"Call the Boss" . We did, and it was the best decision we made. They answered the call on the first ring and arrived at our home within 15 minutes. Within an hour they had removed most of the standing water and cleaned up our home so we could have our Thanksgiving. Thank you Boss! Your the BEST!!!

Quality of Workmenship

Boss did water removal work on our condo in August, 2010. Mold and mildew was still present on the sheetrock after they completed their work. The Owner had to repair the mold and mildew and also the workers' for Boss did over $1,150 in additional damage to the unit by being careless during their removal process. Boss was requested to reimburse the unit owner and this never took place. I work rate their quality of workmenship and careless removal process to be a one star rating.

Boss was called out to a condo by the property owners association(resheme)due to a flood that effected several condos. Upon arrival Boss extracted and set up at least 2-3 condos to dry them out. One of the condos was owned by the person who wrote the response above. Upon arrival the owner was very happy to have us there dealing with the loss. Throughout the few days it took to dry out the condo in queston, that owner consistantly complemented our staff and even when it was time for us to remove the last of our equiptment, that owner again thanked our staff for their work. A week or so later we were informed that the claim was not going to be covered by the resheme and was to be handled by each individual homeowner. This information was told to us by the resheme manager. This outraged the owner of this condo. The owner then called our office to state that our invoice was not going to be paid by him because he was not the person who called us to begin with. Keep in mind that when we had initially arrived at the loss the homeowner was very acceptive of our services and signed our paperwork to perform the dryout. Now that he had found out that the loss was not covered by the resheme he was determined not to pay for any of our work. We had found out from one of the neighbors of the condos that, the homeowner in question had contacted his insurance company, and filed a claim. At no time did that homeowner contact us with any information of this. We then called that insurance co and researched the claim information and submitted our invoice direct to them for payment for work performed on a covered loss to their insured client. A week or so went by and the in the adjuster for that co. called our office and stated that the homeowner had been paid for our work minus their $1000 Deductible. Boss then contacted the homeowner regarding the fact that they had been paid for our work and requested payment. The homeowner then stated that Boss had damaged his condo in the process of drying it,( this was the first Boss heard any thing of this sort from that owner) and that he would subtract it from our invoice. We asked to see the damage and at that point the owner said that, "it was being fixed and that was that". He also stated that his son is a contractor and would be sending us the bill. A week or so later we recieved a letter with an $1,100+ invoice for damages. It was obvious that the owner was trying to make Boss pay their $1000 deductible. We then sent our paperwork to our legal staff. We even contacted the resheme before sending this to our attorney because we wanted to make sure that the resheme understood what was going on and were in agreement with what needed to be done. Agree they did. After recieveing a certified letter, the owner paid the bill. Now we are reading his newest claims of mold or mildew issues. Funny - never heard from any other condo owners regarding any problems with their units. All the other condo owners paid there invoices right away. Its a pretty sad day when peaple try to profit from an insurance claim. Even worse when they try to discredit a 18 year old, locally owned and operated business that has always put the customer first. MGT.
