      Recovery Center of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital provides health care services and short-term programs for children, adolescents and adults suffering from mental heath disorders and developmental disabilities. The center has a staff of trained and professional psychiatrics, licensed nurses, case managers and social workers. It provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. It also offers psychological evaluation, crisis intervention, and nutritional counseling services. The center offers various services, such as individual, family and group therapies, posthospitalization care, and 24-hour medication monitoring and supervision. Additionally, it operates various programs, such as geriatric, adult and child and adolescent programs. It operates a 10-bed geriatric unit that provides specialized services and individual care for senior adults. Additionally, it provides special treatment for young people suffering from behavioral disorders and substance abuse. It also offers recreational activities, such as family gatherings and field trips. Recovery Center s child and adolescent program offers services to local school districts.
