Salerno's is a taste of Italy. I have never been disappointed in 20 years. They always have great service.

I don't know if we just got a bad waiter or if the under par service is normal for Salerno's. The Italian food was good though.

The atmosphere was very relaxing and caters to more upscale patrons, especially their "regulars." Everything is very expensive; we felt that because we did not order drinks or appetizers, and then ordered less expensive dinner items, our service level was much less than attentive. The house salad was excellent, but the marinara sauce was unimpressive. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.

If you don't live in or around Flower Mound, then it is worth the drive to eat at Salerno's. The chefs are world renown. One of the best Italian restaurants anywhere.

Can count on them for good food

The restaurant use to be really nice a few years ago - the decor is looking a bit dated - the carpet and facilities are not the nicest - but the food is still wonderful

A great place to go for lunch or dinner.

they can make anything just the way you want. The lasagna is outstanding. The salads with their homemade dressings,(especially the Thousand Island, my favorite) are wonderful.

Huge portions; good food

A causal neighborhood restaurant. Good for a date with your spouse, but serves kids, as well. I like the seafood tutto mare, which includes shrimp. Although the big salmon chunks are a little out of place.

A local favorite of mine

This old Italian restaurant seems to be hidden away in the corner. I was determined to find it because of all the great things I'd heard about it. They were right! I give the Salerno an 11. The food, atmosphere, service and price all together make a terrific evening.

One of the Oldest Italian Restaurants in Flower Mound

You dont' stay in business for as long as Salerno's has been around without providing great food and great service. They have been in Flower Mound for years, serving up a wide variety of Italian food. Wonderful food, great service. A Flower Mound tradition. While all the new residents are fighting to get into those "other" restaurants, the old timers are chowing down at Salerno's. You need to find out what the secret is.
