Awesome pet groomer!! Wes (the owner) is such a delightful, knowledgeable & caring guy!! He sure does know & love dogs. Wes took the time to go over what I wanted for my poodle. He did a FANTASTIC job on my standard poodle (11 months old). i wouldn't consider taking my dog anywhere else. I highly recommend Wes !!!

Classic Clips is a 5 star pet groomer !!!

A co-worker recommended Classic Clips Pet Salon and said she'd been going there for years and could not be happier. She raved about how well the owner, Wes treats the dogs and how much her dog loves going there. I took my 4-month-old Miniature Schnauzer there last week for a traditional Schnauzer cut and was very impressed with how professional Wes and his staff were and how relaxed my puppy was after she was groomed. She looked great and was very calm and content when I arrived to pick her up. She was even sitting on the owner's lap and he was petting her! It was clear to me that Wes loves dogs and they love him. I highly recommend this place and know that you, too will be satisfied. I find it very curious how on every site that does reviews, there's always one person who gives Classic Clips 1 star and everyone else who gives it 5 stars. Seems to me that this one person (because it seems to be the same person on every site) is either a competing groomer or just someone who is never happy and always complains. I encourage everyone to go see for yourself how good this place is and what a great groomer Wes is.

I would not leave my animals here the stale order of cigaret smoke and the smell of alcohol in the air. I left my shih tuz for a full groom and when I picked her up she didn't look like she was touched, and she smelled worse. On top of this I had to pay 40 dollars her nails were not clipped and the hair in her ears was not polled. when i quested it I got a vague answer that they were trying to do the best that they could do. Then I questioned the fact that the nails and the ears were not touched. I was yelled at and the owner was very rood to me over the phone did not even offer for me to bring my dog back to correct the situation. Classic Clips was the worst salon I have been to.

A note of praise for Wes at Classic Clips in East Providence. He has been grooming our mini and standard poodles for over twelve years. His talent is so evident by the consistent , well defined precision hair cuts. We have never been disappointed. Our dogs always receive the full "Spa" treatment. Wes is very accommodating and shows great kindness and compassion in his card for senior dogs. He is positvely the "Best". Accolades for Classic Clips.

This place is a FIND! Not only does Wes (the owner) do a great job -- my dog (who used to quiver in fear every time she had to go to the groomer) -- now excitedly leaps out of the car when we get there. He is gentle and good to the dogs, and also good to the owners since he will do whatever you ask -- from fancy frou-frou to plain and simple. His prices are also extremely reasonable. The shop is clean and pleasant, and the other dogs there all seem relaxed and happy. I am so grateful finally to have found a place my dog doesn't fear.

We've taken our dog to Classic Clips several times, and we've always had great experiences. Today was exceptional though! Our dog was a complete mess when we dropped him off, covered in dirt and filled with knots. We assumed that he'd have to be shaved down. Wes and his team were able to comb through it all, and they gave him a gorgeous haircut. His coat is still full, and we couldn't be happier.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DOG SALON IN RHODE ISLAND! PEACEFUL, CLEAN AND LOVELY PEOPLE TO BE WITH! YOUR PET IS SAFE HERE! ASK FOR WES! HE IS THE OWNER!
