I had some Seafood Gumbo from Fishbones and it was absolutely delicious! I was having trouble remembering which gumbo I had so a young lady named Rebbeca let me sample one so I could find out which one I wanted. She was also very friendly and very nice and it was a delight to order from her. Fishbones has just earned a regular thanks to their amazing customer service and exquisite food

Horrible service, rude " security guard".

Will not allow my ((service)) dog to come in. Which is against the law. And the "security guard" who looks like and sounds like the character on The Boondocks. Plus he was just as ignorant as the cartoon character. He never address me but only to the company I was with. He must can't talk to women. Smh...I have lived in downtown Detroit for over 12 years I have never had a problem until now.

GREAT FOOD NO MATTER WHAT YOU EAT

In all honestly we've never been blown away with the food they prepared for us any time we've come here. The manager is awesome and food is always excellent. We come downtown specifically to eat here and play the casino. A++++++place to eat and enjoy the live entertainment.

Cajun

Outstanding Cajun food ... best outside of Louisiana. Make certain you get some beads before you leave. They also have excellent sushi!

Good Cajun Food

Is it the best cajun restaurant...no but it is good if you can't get to New Orleans and have a taste for cajun food. The waitstaff is always nice and carryout is available. Try their Sunday Brunch!!

Best sushi in the area

Fishbones has the best sushi in the area. Highly recommend the East roll and the California tempura roll. The Tako Salad is always great. Never had a bad sushi dinner here. Always fresh!!

This Restaurant was a poor choice in the City for dinner before the Red Wings Game.

We are originally from Detroit and had friends in from Canada and they picked the Restaurant. Upon arriving our reservations were delayed by 45 minutes. We made reservations a month in advance. When asking a manager if we were able to get out of the Restuarant by 6:30 she laughed at us. The food was over priced and look as if it was made in the microwave. The service was terrible. The server did not know how to speak english nor make change. We all got very frustrated and ended up leaving him the change because we had to make the game. Nice tactic to make an extra buck.
