Provided by YP.comI went there for a Spa Sampler party with some friends just recently and I had a blast. The staff was very friendly. It was really nice how it was set up. They had different rooms with different facial samples, massages and hand treatments. I enjoyed it a lot. We got to walk around and drink wine and not feel like we had to try every treatment. They let us bring in our food and wine. Which I liked since some places sometimes wont let you do that. We were there for about 2 hrs or so. I recommend everyone to do a spa sampler party with your girlfriends. Its a blast.

Provided by YP.comYou obviously are a just trying to get new business for the other place you mentioned. Or you were just having a really bad day & looking for problems. This is the best spa/salon in town. The staff is very friendly, accomadating, knowledgable & helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing & quiet as it should be. The business is in a large, country chic house with beautiful rooms & has a warm & inviting atmosphere. Dont know what your problem was, obviously having a bad day or just a bad life. This place is the best!

Provided by YP.comI have been to this spa a couple of times and have never had a bad experience. The receptionists have always been friendly and I was always greeted when I walked in the door. I had a gift certificate that had been 3 years expired, and they still honored it for me. I had a 3 hour package which included a facial, massage, and pedicure. The massage was very relaxing and the facial was even better. Their pedicure area is very cute with blue and white porcelain looking bowls. It was a little difficult to get up and down from the pedicure chair, but the pedicure itself was very relaxing.
The ambiance in the spa is very relaxing and it has a very light, fresh smell to it. Every now and then while I was getting my pedicure someone would walk by or get on the computer, however they quickly left when they saw me there. They have a very cute little boutique that always has the cutest jewelry and some other fun things.
All in all my experience was very nice at this spa. I was very happy with my visit. I would recommend anyone to go here.

Provided by YP.comIf you want to be pampered and treated to a relaxing experience, look elsewhere. This was the worst spa experice I've ever had. I made my appointment well in advance only to have a receptionist call the day before asking me to push my appointment back a half hour. I said my schedule wouldn't permit this and they said they would do it at the appointed time. I arrived on time but my pedicurist didn't. After waiting 20 mins she arrived and gave a mediocre pedicure. I found out she was really a facialist who they called into to do my appointment at the last minute. The whole time workers talked on cell phones and typed endlessly on the computer. If I wanted my pedicure in an airport terminal, I'm pretty sure I could find one for far less money than Mapleshade Spa charged me. They gave me a few dollars off the cost due to the trouble it caused me (my whole day's schedule thrown of). However, before I left I noticed my pants had an oil stain from some of the treatments. She promised it would come out but it didn't. When I called the next day, the owner was difficult to find and even more difficult to deal with. He promisd he'd make things right but it seemed doutful I'd ever get him to talk to me on the phone or see me again. Please don't waste your time, money or sanity on this spa, there are far better exeriences to be had in the DFW area. Try The Face and Body Salon, they are a good alternative.
