PPES rocks, especially the amazing, Dr. Ko. I didn't realize that this facility also handled highly specialized services such as MRIs and specialized surgeries until my Ginger, a 12-yr-old heeler, blew out a disk in her neck. It put her in an extreme amount of pain and was quite debilitating. My vet highly recommended him and sent me directly to have her examined. He found that she had herniated a disk in her spine and required surgery. He was so thorough and patient with me and my questions. Shegot an MRI and went into surgery. He kept me informed every step of the way. When I brought her in, she could barely walk and seemed to have no chance of life without pain. Dr. Ko assured me that if the surgery went well her quality of life would likely be very good! He was SO right - we are in day 5 of her recovering at home and she is already trying to dance around prior to her being released for regular activity. In fact, she was up walking the day after surgery! Dr. Ko is my absolute hero!

This is the worst animal emergency clinic I've ever seen. Recently, my dog contracted an eye issue and I brought him in. The lobby was empty when I arrived but it took over 20 minutes to be seen. Thirty minutes later, I had to leave the exam room to ask for help. I insisted that they at least flush his eyes to relieve the pain, which they did 10 minutes later. I then waited for another 2 hours and asked again when my dog would be seen. It was only then that they told me that 2 dogs had arrived earlier who were in life-threatening situations and didn't know when my animal would be seen. I asked why I wasn't told that 2 hours ago, when I could have found another clinic. Because I objected, another tech implied I was being "abusive" - which was offensive and unfounded. I repeated my objections and left with my dog still in pain. He was treated without the slightest regard for his well-being. I will never go back to this arrogant, irresponsible, and thoroughly second-rate "clinic."

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! They have been so amazing! My dog was hit by a car and if he had not been seen by them, he would've died! They are amazing! I feel sorry for the others that have commented because they have all been gentle and kind to me, and my dog literally runs out of the house when he knows we're going to see them! See for yourself! They're great!
