Carlos and Jean URdiales warned us about going to this place. If you were to walk in the back kitchen and see the filt and how they prepare their food - you would never go here again. Why the Board of Health doesn't shut this place down is beyond comprehension.

Favorite Mexican Restaurant

El Rio Grande has been our favorite Mexican restaurant since we first discovered it 9 years ago. We have introduced El Rio Grande to many of our friends and relatives, both locally, and from out of town. El Rio Grande has become their favorite Mexican restaurant as well, and when we have visitors from out of town - they always ask to go back there. The food is authentic, flavorful, and always fresh. Their guacamole is beyond compare! Made to order, using fresh avocados, and not blended with other ingredients to make it stretch further. Their salsa is a family recipe, and their margaritas are the best in the area too. A large amount of the patrons there, have been loyal customers for years, adding to the friendly, accommodating atmosphere. We have poked our heads into the kitchen on many occasions, just to say "hi" to the crew, and have never witnessed anything unclean, or questionable.
