Founded in 1905, Red Wing Shoe Company manufactures and sells purpose-built work and industrial footwear through a network of stores. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the shoe store offers a suite of products for people working in factories and at construction sites, refineries, railroads, oil rigs and docks. Some of its brands comprise Heritage Collection, Irish Setter, Vasque, Carhartt and WORX. Red Wing Shoe Company also operates S.B. Foot Tannery, a tanning facility, while providing shoe repairing services to its clients.
